Country-Fried Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 cubed steaks
    1 c. flour
    salt and pepper
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 Tbsp. flour
    water
Preparation
    Rinse steaks.
    Mix flour with salt and pepper.
    Coat steak with flour mixture.
    Heat shortening in a large skillet.
    Add steaks and fry on both sides until browned and meat juices run clear.
    Remove steaks from skillet.
