Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 c. soft bread crumb
    1 onion, minced
    1 lb. pork, ground
    1 lb. veal, ground
    5 to 6 strips bacon
Preparation
    Set oven at 350\u00b0.
    Combine first 6 ingredients; let stand 5 minutes.
    Add onion and meat; mix well.
    Line a loaf pan (8 x 5 x 3-inch) with bacon across the width of pan.
    Pack meat mixture into pan.
    Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
    Remove from oven; invert meat loaf onto baking sheet and lift off pan.
    Raise oven temperature to very hot (450\u00b0); return meat loaf to oven for 10 minutes to crisp bacon. Makes 6 servings.
