Sweet Pickles From Dills - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. dills (buy cheap ones).
    1 cup water
    2 cups sugar
    1/2 cup vinegar
Preparation
    Drain juices off dill pickles and pour boiling water over and let cool.
    Cut length wise and cover with the following syrup: Boil sugar, water and vinegar.
    Pour over split pickles. Refrigerate for 3 or 4 days.
