Less-Than-An-Hour Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground chuck
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. salt or to taste
    ground pepper to taste
    garlic salt to taste
    4 (1 lb. each) cans tomatoes
    4 potatoes
    4 carrots
    3 celery stalks
    3 bay leaves
    2 Tbsp. fresh parsley
Preparation
    Brown ground meat, draining away as much grease as possible; add chopped onion and brown with meat.
    Add seasonings and undrained tomatoes.
    Peel potatoes and cut into small cubes.
    Chop carrots and celery finely.
    Simmer 45 minutes or more, according to size of vegetable pieces.
    Serves 4 meals.
    It freezes perfectly.
