Wild Rice And Oyster Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box Uncle Ben's original wild rice
1 3/4 c. water
2 tsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
1 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. jalapeno peppers, chopped
1 lb. chicken livers, boiled
1 c. green onions, finely chopped
2 pt. raw oysters
Preparation

Measure water into a saucepan and add rice, bouillon granules, margarine and peppers.
Bring to a boil.
Cover tightly and simmer until all water is absorbed (about 25 to 30 minutes).
Add chicken livers that have been chopped in the food processor and the raw oysters.
Cook for about 10 more minutes.
Add green onions.
Stir well and serve.
This dish is relatively expensive to make but it is worth the expense.
The Cobb children think that Christmas and Thanksgiving dinner is incomplete without their wild rice and oyster dressing.
Serves 9.
