Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs and beat well.
Sift all dry ingredients together and add to mixture alternately with bananas.
Stir in nuts.
Bake in well-greased loaf pan for 40 to 45 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
Remove from pan and cool.
