Steve'S Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 1/4 c. + 4 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Blend shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Add flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt. Mix well.
    Roll mixture into balls.
    In sandwich bag shake together the 4 tablespoons of sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.
    Place balls into bag and shake.
    Put balls on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
