Homemade Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1/2 green pepper, diced
    2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    2 tsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 tsp. oregano leaves
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. cracked pepper
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Brown in 5-quart Dutch oven:
    ground beef, onion, garlic clove and green pepper.
    Drain off excess grease.
    Add tomatoes, tomato paste, brown sugar, parsley, oregano leaves, salt, cracked pepper and bay leaf.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat to medium-low. Partially cover and cook 30 minutes.
    Discard the bay leaf.
    Best over thin spaghetti noodles.
