Sandies (Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/3 c. granulated sugar
    2 tsp. water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add 2 teaspoons water and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Blend in flour and nuts; chill for 4 hours.
    Shape into ball or fingers.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 325\u00b0 about 20 minutes.
    Remove from pan; cool slightly.
    Roll in confectioners sugar.
