No Peek Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew beef
    1 envelope dry onion soup mix
    1 can golden mushroom soup
    1 small can mushrooms, drained
    1/2 c. red wine (optional)
Preparation
    In crock-pot, put all ingredients except wine.
    Mix together well.
    Cover and cook on low heat for 8 to 10 hours.
    During last hour of cooking, add wine and stir.
    Serve over egg noodles or rice.
