Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 6oz. box cherry jello
    1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
    1 can Bing cherries in heavy syrup
    1/2 c. broken nuts, or as desired
    1/2 c. diced peeled apples or as desired
    1 1/2 c. mini marshmallows or as desired
Preparation
    Dissolve Jello in 2 c. boiling water.
    Add the cherry syrup plus enough cold water to make 1 1/2 c.
    Put in the refrigerator to thicken.
    When partially set, add the cranberry sauce, cherries, cut in half, and the nuts, apples and marshmallows.
    Mix well.
    Refrigerate until set.
    This keeps well and can be made ahead.
