Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    juice of lemon
    red cake coloring
Preparation
    Bring to boil until clear and thick and bubbling.
    Cook for about 5 minutes, then add 2 to 3 cartons of clean, fresh, cold strawberries.
    Put in prepared pie crust.
    Just before serving, top with whipped cream.
