Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1 1/3 c. turmeric
    1 1/3 c. mustard seed
    1 sliced onion
    1/2 c. salt
    cucumbers
Preparation
    Put sliced onion in bottom of an empty 3-pound peanut butter jar, then fill with sliced cucumbers.
    Mix remaining ingredients and pour over cucumbers.
    Refrigerate for 5 days, then eat and enjoy.
