Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add vanilla and egg.
    Mix dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
    Chill dough.
    Roll very thin on floured surface and cut out with favorite cookie cutters. Decorate, if desired.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
