Mexican Velveeta Cheese Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. cubes Velveeta, melted in double boiler
    1 c. diced onion
    1 small can green chili
    1 Tbsp. melted shortening
    1/2 c. tomato juice or 1 small can tomato sauce
    garlic salt to taste
Preparation
    Saute onion, chili and shortening.
    Add tomato juice and garlic salt.
    Mix all ingredients into melted cheese.
    If too thick, add more tomato juice.
    Serve hot with corn chips.
