Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Karo syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. raw peanuts
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Bring Karo, sugar and water to a boil.
    Drop in peanuts.
    Cook until peanuts are done (they will pop and turn darker).
    Put in soda, salt and vanilla.
    Pour on buttered plate; cool about 30 minutes and break.
