Banana-Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. bananas, mashed
    1 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. apple, peeled and finely chopped
Preparation
    Cream shortening; gradually add sugar, beating well.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Stir in apple and bananas.
    Combine flour, soda and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture, stirring just enough to blend.
    Spoon batter into greased and floured pan.
    Bake for 1 hour.
    Cool in pan 10 minutes.
    Cool completely on wire rack.
