Hearty Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. sliced bacon
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. peeled, diced potatoes
    1 c. water
    2 c. frozen corn
    1 (15 oz.) can cream-style corn
    1 (15 oz.) can evaporated milk
    6 oz. smoked sausage links, cut in 1/4-inch slices
    1 tsp. dill weed
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp.
    Remove to paper towels, crumble and set aside.
    Drain all but 2 tablespoons of drippings.
    Saute onion and celery in drippings, until onion is lightly browned.
    Add potatoes and water.
    Cover and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
    Stir in corn, milk, sausage, dill and bacon.
    Cook until the potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes.
    Makes 4 (6 ounce) servings.
