Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or oleo
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    6 to 7 qt. popped corn
Preparation
    Mix
    syrup,
    oleo
    and sugar;
    bring to a boil.
    Boil 6 minutes
    (until thread forms when dropped from spoon).
    Remove from
    heat.
    Add
    cream
    of tartar, soda and salt.\tStir until well mixed.
    Pour over popped corn; stir until all kernels are coated.
    Place
    in container that can be placed in oven.
    Bake 1 hour at 200\u00b0, stirring often.
    Keep in airtight container.
