Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. apples, diced
    2 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. canola oil
Preparation
    With wooden spoon, stir together the apples, eggs, vanilla and oil in a large bowl.
    Stir in dry ingredients, one at a time, until well blended.
    Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Top with whipped cream when ready to serve.
