Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    chopped onions
    green peppers
    salt
    pepper
    garlic
    1 qt. tomatoes
    1 to 1 1/4 c. uncooked rice
    large can tomato sauce or tomato juice
Preparation
    Brown the ground beef and drain the fat, then add in the onions, peppers, salt, pepper and garlic.
    Add mashed tomatoes and a can of tomato sauce or tomato juice and bring to a boil.
    Add in rice and bring to a boil.
    Simmer for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Add more tomatoes or juice, if necessary.
