Grandmother'S Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. milk
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Beat in butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add the well beaten egg yolks.
    Sift flour twice with salt and baking powder.
    Add a little milk at a time with flour; add vanilla. Fold in beaten egg whites.
    Pour batter into 2 iron skillets. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until done.
    Can use any pan of your choice.
