Date-Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pitted dates
1 lb. pecan pieces
1 lb. candied cherries
4 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Cut dates into 3 pieces.
Cut cherries in half.
Combine all dry ingredients.
Add to dates, pecans and cherries.
Combine vanilla with well beaten eggs, then add to flour and fruit mixture.
Mix well.
Pour batter into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for
one hour and fifteen minutes.
