Creamed Salmon And Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    4 Tbsp. flour
    few grains pepper
    2 c. milk
    3/4 c. cooked or canned peas or corn, drained
    3/4 c. salmon, drained and boned
Preparation
    Melt butter or margarine.
    Blend in flour, salt, pepper and sugar.
    Gradually add milk.
    Cook in top of double boiler over hot water, stirring constantly until thick.
    Add salmon and peas. Serve on toast.
