Cog Au Vin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    4 (6 oz.) sliced mushrooms
    flour
    salt and pepper
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 1/2 Tbsp. parsley
    1 1/2 c. white wine
    6 to 8 pearl onions
    6 to 8 boneless chicken breasts
    6 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 tsp. tarragon
    1/2 tsp. thyme
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp, drain and crumble.
    In a bit of bacon grease, saute onions and mushrooms, then remove from pan. Lightly dredge chicken in flour, salt and pepper.
    Add butter to frying pan and brown chicken.
    Remove to casserole and sprinkle with garlic and herbs.
    Add bacon, onions and mushrooms and pour on wine.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for one and one-half hours. Serves 4 to 6.
