Apricot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. butter (unsalted)
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    4 eggs
    lemon rind, grated
    2 cans apricots
Preparation
    Cream the butter, sugar and eggs.
    Add flour and baking powder.
    Pour into a single round, greased cake pan.
    Drain and slice apricots; pour on center of cake batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
