Stewed Hard Crabs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 doz. hard crabs, backed and cleaned
6 to 8 medium white potatoes, diced or cubed
1 large onion, diced
salt and pepper to taste
6 to 8 thin slices salt fatback, fried out, or 2 Tbsp. oil, if desired

Preparation

Place crabs in a large pot.
Add potatoes, onion, salt and pepper, grease from fatback or oil and water.
Cook over medium heat for approximately 15 minutes or until full boil begins.
