Sauerkraut Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Mild Italian Sausage Links-Cut into 1-inch Slices
    1 lg Onion Chopped
    2 Apples Macintosh or Granny Smith Peeled & Quartered
    27 oz. Can Sauerkraut-Undrained
    1 Cup Water
    1/2 Cup Browned Sugar Packed
    2 tsp. Caraway Seeds
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350.
    In large skillet or Dutch oven.
    Cook Italian Sausage and onion until sausage is brown and onion is tender.
    Drain fat.
    Stir in apples, sauerkraut, water, sugar and caraway seed.
    Transfer to a 2-1/2 qt. baking dish.
    Cover and bake for 1 hour.
    Serves 4.
