Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium yellow squash
    1 chopped onion
    1/2 c. fine bread or cracker crumbs
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    4 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion in a small amount of salted water until tender; drain.
    Add bread or cracker crumbs (reserving 1 tablespoon for top), cheese, egg, salt, pepper and 2 tablespoons margarine.
    Spoon into greased casserole.
    Top with remaining crumbs; dot with 2 tablespoons margarine.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until brown.
    Yield:
    4 servings.
