Boston Baked Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. water
1 lb. dried pea beans
1 medium onion, sliced
1/4 lb. salt pork, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. molasses
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
-
Soak beans in 4 cups water overnight.
Heat beans to boiling in same water; cover and simmer until tender, 1 to 2 hours.
Drain beans, reserving liquid.
