Hardy'S Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
4 c. self-rising flour
3/4 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water and set aside.
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Cut in shortening, then add buttermilk and yeast water.
Mix well.
Cover dough with towel and let set overnight.
Next morning, pour dough out on floured board and knead lightly for a minute or two.
Roll out and cut biscuits. Bake at 500\u00b0 until done.
