Pork Chops, Apples, And Sauerkraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 pork chops, 1/2 inch thick
vegetable oil for browning
1 medium sliced onion and separated into rings
1/8 tsp. instant garlic flakes
3 c. sauerkraut, drained
3/4 c. apple juice
1 1/2 tsp. caraway seed
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. apple slices, unpeeled and cored, red cooking variety
Preparation

Brown pork chops in non-stick pan; set aside, omit this step if in a hurry. Place in a slow cooker half of onion rings, garlic flakes, sauerkraut, apple juice, caraway seed, salt and pepper. Add pork chops. Place the remaining half of ingredients on top of the chops. Top with apple slices. Cover slow cooker and cook on low 6 to 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
