Grammies Crawford Woodcock - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 can asparagus
    3 hard-boiled eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 small jar pimentos
    thin crackers
Preparation
    Melt butter in top of double boiler.
    Add flour, salt and pepper; cook until smooth.
    Add milk, asparagus and some of the liquid until smooth.
    Cut eggs lengthwise into quarters and add to mixture.
    Add pimentos.
    Serve hot on thin crackers.
