Lemon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. oleo
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
pinch of salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 lemon
1/3 c. sugar
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time and beat well. Add milk alternately with sifted dry ingredients.
Add grated rind or lemon.
Bake in loaf pan 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Cool 5 to 10 minutes.
Mix sugar and juice of 1 lemon and pour over bread.
Let stand 1/2 hour then remove from pan.
Makes 1 loaf.
