Coconut-Cream Cheese Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c. Crisco
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
3 c. sugar
1 tsp. coconut flavoring
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
6 eggs
3 c. flour
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. flaked coconut
Preparation

Preheat oven to
325\u00b0.\tGrease and flour a 10-inch tube pan. Cream
the\tbutter, shortening and cream cheese together in large bowl.
Gradually
add sugar, beating at medium speed, until light and fluffy.
Stir in coconut flavoring and vanilla extract.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour,
salt
and
baking powder and add to the butter. Stir
just until blended.
Fold in coconut.
Pour the batter into prepared
tube
pan.
Bake\tfor an hour and 15 minutes or until tester
comes
out\tclean.\tRemove\tcake and allow to cool.
