Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour (self-rising)
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients; mix well.
    Cut shortening in slowly.
    Add buttermilk.
    Mix well.
    Roll on floured board; knead and roll out about 1/2 to 3/4-inch.
    Cut to desired size.
    Place in greased iron skillet.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 until golden brown.
