Microwave Apple Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. peeled, cored and thinly sliced apples
    2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar, divided
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. flour
    1/3 c. butter
    2/3 c. regular oats, uncooked
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    vanilla ice cream (optional)
Preparation
    Combine apples, 1/3 cup of brown sugar and lemon juice.
    Toss gently.
    Place in 8-inch square baking dish; set aside.
    Combine remaining sugar and flour in medium bowl.
    Cut in butter until mixture resembles a coarse meal.
    Stir in oats and pecans.
    Spoon mixture over apples.
    Microwave, uncovered, at High for 12 to 13 minutes, rotating a half turn at 6 minutes.
    Spoon in dessert dishes; top with ice cream.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
