Boiled Chocolate Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. cocoa
    3 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. milk
    4 1/2 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine cocoa, sugar and salt.
    Add milk and bring to a boil, stirring often.
    Cook to 232\u00b0 or until a small amount forms a soft ball in cold water.
    Remove from heat and drop in butter.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Add vanilla and beat until mixture thickens slightly. Spread on cake.
