Cream Of Broccoli Soup(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen broccoli pieces
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    1 Tbsp. onion, chopped
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. each: salt and pepper
    2 c. milk
    1 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    Microwave frozen broccoli on High for 3 to 4 minutes.
    Let stand.
    In 3-quart casserole, microwave butter and onion for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.
    Stir in flour and seasoning; add milk and broth. Stir until smooth.
    Cover and microwave on High 8 to 10 minutes, stirring 2 to 3 times.
    Squeeze excess moisture out of broccoli and add to mixture.
    Cover and microwave 3 to 4 minutes.
    Stir once until broccoli is tender and soup is thick and bubbly.
    Let stand for 3 minutes.
    Depending on microwave, soup may have to be cooked longer to thicken.
