Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    2/3 c. milk
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, added one at a time
Preparation
    Just beat all the ingredients, adding the eggs last, one at a time.
    Bake in a 300\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 25 to 30 minutes in loaf pan, greased with melted butter or margarine.
