Thirty Minute Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    2 Tbsp. oil or melted butter
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder, salt and soda together.
    Heat buttermilk to lukewarm; add sugar and yeast.
    Let stand 5 minutes. Add oil, stir in dry ingredients; mix well.
    Roll on floured board; knead.
    Shape biscuits and place on well greased (or buttered) baking pan.
    Grease tops with melted butter.
    Cover, allow to rise 30 minutes.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
