Oreo Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/3 c. margarine
16 oz. Oreo cookies
1 large (6 oz.) box instant chocolate pudding
8 oz. cream cheese
12 oz. Cool Whip
1 c. powdered sugar
3 c. milk (for pudding)

Preparation

Crush cookies (keep aside a handful for topping).
Melt margarine and mix with cookies in 9 x 13-inch dish.
Press to bottom of dish.
Mix cream cheese and sugar until smooth; fold in 1/2 of Cool Whip.
Spread over cookie crust.
Mix pudding with milk and pour over cream cheese layer.
Spread Cool Whip on top. Sprinkle with crushed cookies on top.
