Sangria - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (25.4 oz.) bottle Burgundy or other dry red wine, chilled
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 orange, thinly sliced
    1 lemon, thinly sliced
    1 (10 oz.) bottle club soda, chilled
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients in a large pitcher, stirring to dissolve sugar.
    Add club soda just before serving.
    Serve over ice.
    Makes about 1 quart.
