Watergate Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 boxes pistachio pudding mix (Jell-O)
    1 large (16 oz.) container Cool Whip
    1 large (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
    1 c. pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Put Cool Whip in a large bowl.
    Add pudding mix, pineapple and nuts.
    Mix and store in refrigerator.
    May be topped with cherries.
