Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. apples sliced
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. Gold Medal flour sifted
    1/3 c. butter soft
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Layer apples in the bottom 8 by 8 inch square of baking dish.
    Combine water, cinnamon and salt, sprinkle mixture over apples.
    Work together the sugar, flour and butter until crumbly. Spread crumb mixture over apples.
    Bake uncovered about 40 minutes.
    Serve warm.
