Carol'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
3 Tbsp. corn syrup
5 Tbsp. strawberry Jell-O
1 qt. strawberries
1 baked (9-inch) pie shell

Preparation

Mix together syrup, sugar, cornstarch, salt and add water slowly and cook until clear.
Add Jell-O; stir until dissolved. Cool and add berries.
Pour into pie shell.
Chill, then add Cool Whip on top.
