Pinto Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. pinto beans
4 cloves garlic
1 chunk salt pork (2 x 2-inch)
salt and pepper to taste
2 Tbsp. molasses (dark)
1/5 bunch calandro (tops, not stems)
6 or 7 chilly petins if available
2 Tbsp. barbecue sauce
1/2 tsp. McCormick season all
Preparation

Soak beans overnight.
Add all ingredients and cook very slow until tender in enough water to cover the beans.
Add any other spices to suit your taste.
