Applesauce Cake No. 1 - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. hot applesauce
1 rounding tsp. soda into sauce while hot
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
3 heaping tsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. nutmeg, cinnamon and salt
2 c. flour
1 c. raisins and nuts

Preparation

Bake in slow oven for 3/4 hour.
