Oatmeal Crispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Wesson oil
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 1/2 c. flour, sifted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 c. quick cooking oats
    1/2 to 1 c. nuts, chopped
    1/2 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Mix oil and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Sift all dry ingredients together and add to sugar mixture. Add oats and nuts and mix well. Dough will be stiff (use hands). Shape into rolls and wrap in waxed paper. Chill in the refrigerator. Slice 1/4-inch thick and bake on ungreased baking sheet for 10 to 15 minutes at 350\u00b0. Yield: about 60 cookies.
