Tempura Batter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cornstarch
    1/2 c. plain flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley (optional)
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients in bowl.
    Gradually stir in water.
    Add fresh vegetables, shrimp, etc.
    The batter will be thin. Deep fry until golden brown.
